WHAT’S THE WAY FORWARD FOR NIGERIAN WORKERS’?

Working for the Nigerian govt seems to be an omen, if you have no one at the top. You will work and be owed for many months. sometimes it runs into a year, two years. Even the health sector is not off the radar of these government owing. No place can grow or develop when workers’ are not being paid for their sweat. With the way Nigerian Govt deals with her workers, it’s no wonder the nation is still unable to rise to the status envisaged for it by the developed/first world countries when she gained independence. They[Nigerian govt] believe nothing is happening and nothing will happen, so they treat everybody working for them, except “them them” like shit. Every project undertaken by the Nigerian govt flops. All they care about is the money associated with each project, especially projects sponsored by foreign NGOs, WHO, UN… When these projects are handled by its sponsors it flows well, they pay those working for them, and they pay early, but when handed over to the Nigerian govt to carry on with the project, the project slowly dies. Don’t ask why? Ask how?
Because, the Nigerian govt only cares about the money coming in through these projects. All they want is to embezzle the money. they cut workers’ pay, after cutting the pay, they still don’t pay early. Workers’ KEEP working, believing their money will be paid to them, but LIE LIE. The non-payment lingers. Nobody wants to talk about their money. When you talk about it, you’re labelled dissident, or you are told it would be paid in a week’s time, which turns out to be another lie.
nIGERIA IS A FAILED state. Nigeria is a FAILED STATE.
NIGERIA IS A FAILED STATE!
NIGERIA IS A FAILED STATE!
